Questions We'd Ask Too

Who conducts the tests for Asai cookware?

We work with globally recognised, independent testing agencies like SGS
and Intertek — leaders in safety, compliance, and quality testing. These
labs are accredited to international standards (like ISO/IEC 17025), ensuring
complete reliability and accuracy of results.

What exactly do you test for?

Every batch of Asai cookware is screened for 70+ potential
contaminants
, including:

  • Forever
    Chemicals
    : PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, BPA,
    microplastics
  • Heavy
    Metals
: Lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and
    20+ others
  • Other
    Hidden Toxins
    : PAAs, PAHs, formaldehyde, tin
    compounds, titanium dioxide, and more
How are these tests performed?

We follow internationally recognised testing
protocols
such as US FDA standards, EU food contact regulations, and BIS
norms for cookware. Using techniques like GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass
Spectrometry), ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry), and
migration testing, we ensure every material in contact with your food is safe

Why test every batch instead of just once?

Because raw materials can vary from batch to batch.
Testing every batch ensures that what you cook on today is just as safe as what
you bought last year — no compromises, no assumptions

Where can I see the results for my pan?

Each Asai pan comes with a unique QR code on its
packaging. Scan it to view your batch’s Health Report, or visit the Asai
Lab
section of our website and enter your batch number

Do the labs ever fail a batch?

Yes — and if a batch doesn’t meet our strict safety standards, it
never leaves the factory. We’d rather lose a production run than risk your
health.

How is Asai different from other cookware brandsin testing?

Most brands either don’t test at all or run limited, one-time
checks. We test every single batch through independent global labs and
publish the results openly — so you can see the proof, not just the promise.
