Why a 5-Year Limited Warranty?

At Asai, we build cookware to last, and we don’t just talk about quality — we prove it. That’s why we now offer a 5-Year Limited Warranty. Not to brag, but because we genuinely believe that cookware made right should stay right — for years.
No gimmicks. No fine print riddled with exceptions. Just a fair, long-term promise.


1. What Does “Limited” Mean?

Our Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues — not wear and tear or misuse. It’s a commitment to stand by your product when the flaw lies in how it was made, not how it was used.
This is not a full warranty — it won’t cover every possible damage — but it’s a strong and honest assurance against real defects.


2. Warranty Duration and Coverage

Coverage Duration: 5 years from the date of original purchase.

What’s Covered:
- Manufacturing defects (e.g., loose handles, unbalanced base, faulty riveting)
- Ceramic coating or construction flaws (e.g., chipping, delamination) only if reported within 7 days of delivery
- Shipping damage reported within 7 days of delivery


3. What’s Not Covered

We’re clear about what isn’t covered — because that’s honesty too:
- Natural wear of ceramic coating (decline in non-stick over time)
- Stains, discoloration, surface fading
- Damage from:
* High heat (anything above medium flame)
* Metal utensils or abrasive scrubbers
* Dishwashers or ovens
* Sudden temperature shifts (cold water on hot pan)
* Mishandling or dropping
* Stacking without protection
- Use in commercial/industrial kitchens
- Ignoring care instructions
- Cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect performance

4. A Note on Coating Performance

Yes, it’s a 5-year limited warranty.
But ceramic is not magic, it’s science. Over time, the non-stick feel may gradually reduce. That doesn’t mean the pan is unsafe, our ceramic stays chemically stable for much longer.


5. Filing a Claim

Just email care@asaicookware.com with:
- Proof of purchase (invoice)
- Clear photos of the product and the issue
- Short description of the problem

We’ll get back to you within 72 business hours.
If eligible, we’ll inspect and offer a repair or free replacement. If pickup is needed, we’ll handle it.


6. Warranty Conditions

To be eligible:
- Product must have valid proof of purchase
- It must be used at home and per our care guide (below)
- Claims must fall under the scope of manufacturing defects
- Claim must be made within the 5-year window


7. Care Instructions (Mandatory for Warranty Validity)

These are not optional — they are essential:
- Always cook on low to medium heat
- Never preheat an empty pan beyond 90 seconds
- No metal tools — use wood or silicone only
- Hand wash only with mild soap and soft sponge
- Never use dishwashers or ovens
- Let cookware cool before washing
- Stack carefully — use cloth or separators
