What makes Asai Cookware different from other brands?
At Asai, we don’t just claim “healthy cooking” — we prove it. Every single batch of our ceramic cookware is tested by top global independent labs for 70+ hidden toxins, including PFAS, heavy metals, and microplastics. We’re the only brand in India that gives you a Health Report with every pan so you can see exactly what’s inside (or rather, what’s not).
Are Asai pans toxin-free?
All Asai cookware is rigorously tested for PFAS (“forever chemicals”), lead, cadmium, microplastics, and more. The results are independently verified by accredited labs, and you can access your pan’s specific report via a QR code on the packaging or the Asai Lab section of our website.
What is ceramic cookware and how is it different from Teflon or traditional non-stick?
Ceramic cookware uses a natural, mineral-based coating instead of synthetic PTFE/Teflon. This means no PFAS or harmful chemicals — even if overheated. While Teflon may last longer in slipperiness, it can release toxins when damaged or overheated. Ceramic is the healthier choice for daily cooking.
Is the ceramic frying pan as non-stick as my Teflon pans?
Ceramic isn’t ultra non-stick like Teflon—and we’re okay with that. A light brush of oil gives you clean, even cooking without microplastics and toxins. The result? Food that’s as safe as it is delicious.
Is Aluminium used in Asai cookware?
Yes, but only in the core for even heat distribution — never in contact with your food. Our ceramic coating acts as a strong barrier, and if that coating chips, we recommend replacing the pan for safety.
How long will Asai cookware last?
With the right care — low to medium heat, soft utensils, and gentle cleaning — your Asai pans will last for 18-24 months. Ceramic coatings are naturally non-stick, but like all cookware, they need a little love to keep performing their best.
Can I use metal utensils with Asai pans?
We recommend silicone or wooden utensils. Metal tools can scratch ceramic, shortening its non-stick life. Each Asai pan comes with its own silicone spatula to get you started.
Are Asai pans dishwasher safe?
They are, but we suggest handwashing. Dishwashers can be a bit rough on non-stick coatings over time. A quick rinse with mild soap and a soft sponge works best.
What kind of cooking surfaces can I use Asai cookware on?
Our pans work beautifully on gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops. Some models are also induction-friendly — just check the product page for details.
Where is Asai Cookware made?
We work with Indian manufacturing partners who meet strict quality and safety standards. Every batch is tested in accredited international labs before reaching your kitchen.
Why do you test every batch instead of just once?
Because materials can vary from batch to batch. Testing every batch ensures that what you cook on today is just as safe as what you bought last year. No surprises, no shortcuts.
How do I care for my Asai cookware?
• Cook on low to medium heat
• Avoid metal tools
• Don’t preheat an empty pan
• Hand wash with mild soap and a soft sponge
Care for your pan, and it will care for your health.
Does ceramic coating wear off?
Over years of use, yes — all non-stick surfaces naturally wear down. But with proper care, ceramic holds up well and, unlike some non-stick coatings, it won’t release toxic fumes even if overheated.
Is the frying pan induction compatible?
Yes- Asai ceramic frying pan is versatile and works on gas, induction and electric cooktops.
Why does Asai focus so much on health?
Because cooking should nourish, not harm. Our founder started Asai to ensure her family could cook without hidden toxins — and we extend that same promise to every home we serve.
