Flipkart's Big Billion Days isn't an Amazon sale — we've included it because it always lands in the same window and people naturally compare the two; Flipkart announced Big Billion Days on 16 September, and Amazon confirmed on 20 September that the Great Indian Festival starts the same day, 8 October. Amazon's own follow-on, Mega Deal Days (13–16 August), isn't a separate row here since it was an extension of the Great Freedom Sale, not a new event.
