Why is Asai ceramic dosa tawa costlier than others?
We are India’s only pan with 4-layer Swiss ceramic coating. Many cheaper brands mix locally available ceramic with harmful PTFE (Teflon) and sell it as “Ceramic” – beware! Our stainless-steel handles are patented and stay cool (<45°C) and we provide complimentary Silicone Spatula (worth Rs 299) with each pan.
Is the ceramic dosa tawa truly non-stick?
Procera™ Ceramic is naturally non-stick and uses 50% less oil. If taken good care it performs well for a long duration. Avoid dry heat, metallic spatula and cook in medium heat.
How is the ceramic tawa better than cast iron tawa?
Cast iron tawas are heavy, require pre-heating, use 2x the oil and are in general tough to maintain. The new enameled ones in market look pretty but lose non-stick in a few weeks.
